Dear Shri Sarkar,

Government of India has notified constitution of 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) vide Gazette notification No. 1/1/2013-E.III(A) dated 28th February, 2014. You may also be kindly aware that Seventh CPC is mandated to submit its report to the Government within 18 months of its constitution. Further the Commission has been mandated to appoint such Advisors, Institutional Consultants and Experts as deemed necessary for any particular purpose.
2. Temporary posts have been created by Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure for a period of 18 months from the date of constitution of the Commission or till closure of the Commission whichever is earlier. In addition to the pay scales, the posts will carry all other usual allowances as admissible in terms of orders and instructions in force on the subject as issued by the Government of India from time to time. These posts have to be filled up only on deputation basis.

3. It is intended to fill up the following vacancies on deputation basis by calling for applications from suitable, interested persons from various Ministries/Departments. Selected Officers shall either be given Deputation Allowances as per the existing rules or in deserving cases (wherever eligible) given one higher grade.

Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2013 – Declaration of Written Result

On the basis of the results of the written part of the CAPF (ACs) Examination, 2013 held by UPSC on October 20, 2013, the candidates with the under-mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Physical standards Test/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test.  The candidature of all the candidates whose Roll Numbers are shown in the list is Provisional, subject to their being found eligible in all respects. The candidates will be required to produce the original certificates in support of their claims pertaining to age, educational qualifications, community etc. at the time of the Personality Test.  They are, therefore, advised to keep the said prescribed certificates ready.

The Central Reserve Police Force (Nodal Authority nominated by Ministry of Home Affairs) will intimate to the candidates about the date, time & venue of the Physical Standards Test/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Standards Test, to be conducted by them.  In case, any candidate does not receive the call letter for Physical Standards Test/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Standards Test (MST) by the May 20, 2014, he/she may contact the DIG (Recruitment)/Dy. Commandant (Recruitments).  Central Reserve Police Force on Telephone No. 011–24364884 Extn. 317, 226, 224 or e.mail  i.d. – digrect.crpf@mail.nic.in.

The candidates who have been declared qualified in the written examination are required to get themselves registered and fill up the Detailed Application Form on-line through the Commission’s Website http://www.upsc.gov.in. Online Detailed Application Form will be available on the Commission’s website from April 11, 2014.  A hard copy of the On-line filled Detailed Application Form, along-with relevant documents like proof of date of birth, educational qualification, caste, Civilian Central Govt. Service employee, resident of J&K etc. is to be submitted by the candidates to the CRPF authorities at the time of conduct of their PST/PET/MST who, in turn, would forward to the Commission, applications, along-with supporting documents & certificates, of those candidates who have either been declared medically fit or their appeal for Review Medical Test have been accepted by the Appellate Authority in the CRPF. The Commission would summon only those candidates for interview who, after clearing the PST and PET, have been declared “FIT” in the Medical Standards Test.

Candidates are advised to intimate change in their address, if any, to the CRPF Authorities, Block No. 1, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 and UPSC through letter or FAX immediately, to facilitate delivery of communications to them promptly.

The marks-sheets of all candidates will be put on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result (after conducting Personality Test) and shall remain available there for a period of 60 days.

Subject: Exit guidelines under National Pension System – Option for Complete withdrawal of accumulated pension wealth by subscriber

In partial modification to circular no. PFRDA/2013/17 /PDEX/10 issued on 23rd October, the ‘request form’ is being replaced with ‘request cum undertaking’ form, as attached along with.


The subscribers wishing to exercise this option shall have to fill the attached ‘request cum undertaking form’ along with the NPS Withdrawal form while submitting the same to their DDO/PAO/DTO/POP. The subscribers who have sent the requests earlier also need to send a fresh request on the amended form for processing of their claims.
