Government approves Rs 1,000 min monthly pension under EPS-95
Government today approved the proposal to ensure Rs 1,000 minimum monthly pension under a scheme of retirement fund body EPFO that would immediately benefit 28 lakh pensioners.

The decision to provide the entitlement under Employees' Pension Scheme-95, run by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation, was taken by the Union Cabinet in its meeting held here.

The move will immediately benefit about 28 lakh pensioners including five lakh widows. There are 44 lakh pensioners.

Govt.should take full contribution on pay from EPF members.it helps to those who suffers due to restricted contribution in their service .It helps members to get respected volume of PENSION.

Thanks to the Govt for sanctioning min pension of Rs.1000 to EPS 95 pensioners.When it will be dispersed. How much arrears we will be getting.
These information may pl be published since we dont get communications either from the pension offices or from our erstwhile employers .CG NEWS is giving heart-warming news to us pensioners.Thank you!

Please elaborate, who are the pensioners benefited, for the knowledge of common pensioners.

While contacting the EPFO Regional office Tiruchirappalli,Tamilnadu as iam enrolled EPS pensioner with this office,they said ,the GOVERNMENT ORDER is yet to be received by them for enhancement of EPS 95 pension to Rs:1000 min.For Cabinet passed bill why this delay? Day by day we are ageing.,proportionately cost of living also souring up. Can the new Government put some speedy disbursal.
